Murphy & Company, at the time, was an agency of record producing web content for the Big Five consulting firm Accenture, once Andersen Consulting. While at M&Co, my primary role was in web content production, developing and revising individual pages and subsections for the core Accenture.com website, as well as related Accenture microsites developed for sales or marketing purposes. This work was done in HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, and Javascript.
Later, I was promoted to be a Site Manager for many of the microsites I had developed using Microsoft Content Management Server and Windows Sharepoint Services, which led to increased direct client service and project management for global internet marketing programs. At this time, additionally, I trained fellow employees and content owners on MSCMS and WSS, produced training and maintenance documentation, and continued to develop new sites in the same pattern.
From time to time as needed, I would assist the design team in providing page mockups or in designing page UI elements such as navigational and situational iconography.
During my tenure, I was selected to join a three-person task force to work directly in-house for Accenture in Chicago on a specialized consulting and site relaunch project.
